How the
Northwest Connects

Looking ahead to 2026: A Letter from CEO Craig A. Nelsen

Dear Community Members and Partners,

As we look ahead to 2026, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported NoaNet—our member utilities, partners, employees, and the communities we serve.

Over the past year, your collaboration and trust have helped us continue building resilient, high-capacity broadband infrastructure across the Pacific Northwest. Together, we have strengthened connectivity for rural and urban communities alike, expanded opportunities for economic growth, and reinforced the critical role that reliable broadband plays in education, healthcare, public safety, and daily life.

Looking forward, NoaNet remains focused on a clear set of goals. We will continue to invest in scalable, future-ready network infrastructure that meets growing demand while maintaining the reliability and security our partners expect. We are committed to deepening our partnerships with local utilities and public entities, supporting innovation, and ensuring that communities of all sizes have access to affordable, high-quality broadband services.

Equally important, we will continue to operate with transparency, fiscal responsibility, and a long-term perspective—always guided by our public-purpose mission. As technology and community needs evolve, NoaNet will remain adaptable, collaborative, and focused on delivering lasting value.

Thank you for your continued partnership and confidence in NoaNet. I am optimistic about what we will accomplish together in 2026 and beyond.

Sincerely,
Craig A. Nelsen
