Job Announcement
Network Engineer-Advanced Services Desired background includes four or more years experience involving routing and switching platforms. Also, a clear understanding of the various technologies that can be transported at layer 1 and above. This includes but is not limited to VTP, spanning tree, ether-channel, general trunking, BPDU filtering, layer 2 ACL, COS, QoS, storm filtering, protocol analysis, bit error testing, cabling, transceivers, internal and external routing protocols, multicast, label switching, ATM, ARIN processes, best Internet practices and RFC 1925. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to configure the aforementioned on multiple platforms. NoaNet engineers are expected to have an understanding of various computer platforms and the associated software that is used to manage networks. EOE. Position requires on call and 24 hours a day availability, including weekends on a rotating schedule. Frequent travel may be required.
