Field Support Technician

Desired background includes two or more years experience as a field support technician on all installation, commissioning, and maintenance for customer and core network equipment and services. The Technician assists with site survey and project management to complete projects of equipment installation, commissioning, testing, conduit, power, and signal cable runs. Ideal candidate will possess experience with fiber optic cable installation, CAT 5/6 cable installation and termination, proficiency with OTDR, power/signal meters and other communications test equipment. 

Must be willing to support inside and outside cabling plant, and have working knowledge of network protocols, telecommunications equipment layout,  DC and HVAC systems.

EOE. Position requires on call and 24 hours a day availability, including weekends on a rotating schedule. Frequent travel may be required.
