NoaNet Overview
The Network is one of the largest in the region with Internet, Ethernet and TDM
at service levels more advanced than in some metro areas. The not for profit
organization supplies services to wholesalers on a cost basis. Through NoaNet,
wholesale providers such as
ILECs,
CLECs,
IXCs,
RSPs,
ISPs,
ASPs and cable companies gain total access to the rural Northwest to serve
major enterprises and government entities that require significant bandwidth to
achieve future growth.
NoaNet represents Public Utility Districts that have linked their fiber optic
networks together to achieve economic feasibility in underserved areas. NoaNet
is unique in working with customers as a partner to present a complete end to
end solution, which can include more than telecommunications. NoaNet draws upon

Northwest Open Access Network (NoaNet) is a registered telecommunications
company under the regulatory oversight of the Washington Utilities and
Transportation Commission. NoaNet is more than a traditional telephone company,
while legally considered a wholesale communications company, NoaNet is more
nimble flexible, accommodating and responsive than customary providers.
