Leadership

Greg L. Marney, Chief Executive Officer

Greg has nearly 40 years of experience in the electric utility and telecommunications industry, including serving as Assistant Manager/Distribution System Superintendent and Acting Treasurer at a north central Washington PUD.  Greg was selected as NoaNet’s first CEO and helped launch NoaNet in 2000.  Since its formation connecting one rural PUD, NoaNet has grown to interconnecting more than 80 telecommunications carriers in Washington to multiple Internet hubs and distribution points. Greg earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Central Washington University.  

David H. Spencer, Chief Operating Officer/Treasurer

Prior to joining NoaNet, David was founder and Chief Executive Officer of a leading information technology company in Boise, Idaho.  His background also includes management and sales for a large consulting engineering firm focusing on information technology and telecommunications. Dave earned a B.S. in Physics from the College of Idaho and a Masters degree in Operations Research from Oregon State University.  

Rob Kopp, Chief Technical Officer

Rob has extensive experience in telecommunications including designing and implementing large scale telecommunications systems and managing telecommunications planning and engineering projects for rural telecommunications and electric utility companies for the past 20 years.  Prior to joining NoaNet, Rob served as a Sales Engineering and Project Manager at the ROLM Corporation and as a Senior Information Technology Consultant at POWER Engineers. Rob earned his degree in Digital Electronics from Boise State University.

Mike Henson, Chief Security Officer

Mike brings nearly two decades of experience in the telecommunications field working with leading companies such Oracle and GTE.  Following service in the U.S. Navy, Mike attended the University of South Alabama and Southwest Missouri State University.
